Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Estructura helps you see the structure behind a sentence — how an idea is reshaped from English into Spanish word order before it becomes Spanish. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data when you use the website and the iOS app.

Short version: no account, no ads, no selling data. Sentences you submit are sent to our language-model provider to generate the explanation. Your practice progress stays on your device.

What we don't do

Sentences you submit

When you ask Estructura to restructure a sentence or chat with the practice tutor, the text you type is sent over an encrypted connection to our cloud functions and to our language-model provider, Google (Gemini API), which generates the restructuring and explanation. We don't ask you to include personal information in these sentences, and we recommend you don't.

Usage and diagnostic logs

We keep service-side logs of conversation turns — the sentence you submitted and the lesson the model generated — for a limited period, to operate the service, fix bugs, and improve how lessons are generated (for example, checking whether the model followed the structural rules correctly). These logs are tied to the request, not to a personal identity, since Estructura has no accounts. If you'd like a specific sentence removed from our logs, email us with the approximate time and text and we'll delete it.

Device identifier

To enforce fair-use limits without requiring an account, the app sends a random identifier generated on your device with each request. It is not derived from your hardware, is not used for advertising or tracking across apps, and resets if you clear the app's storage.

Information stored on your device

Your learning progress — which structural patterns you've seen and your spaced-repetition schedule — is stored locally in your browser/app storage on your device. It is not uploaded to an account. Clearing the app's storage or reinstalling resets it.

Children

Estructura is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third parties

We rely on infrastructure and model providers to run Estructura, including Vercel (hosting) and Google (the Gemini language model). Your submitted text is processed by these providers solely to deliver the feature you requested.

Your choices

Because there's no account, the simplest controls are in your hands: don't submit personal information, and clear your on-device storage at any time to remove your local progress. For any request or question, contact us below.
